Only a manufacturer which is producing parts, assemblies or providing services to an Automotive manufacturer is eligible to obtain the IATF 16949:2016 certification.
ISO 9001:2015
ISO 9001 is the international standard for a quality management system (“QMS”). This provides the backbone for extended 16949 certification although 9001 serves all indutries.
